Find your Urgent Care Center

Need an ultrasound test? CareWell can help.

Ultrasound was once associated solely with pregnancy and fetal imaging, but today ultrasound is used to diagnose a broad range of conditions. From detecting prostate cancer and evaluating breast lumps to giving doctors a view of internal organs and tissues, ultrasound is widely used in medicine to monitor health and investigate a variety of symptoms.

Ultrasound is just one of the many technologies available for diagnosing and treating patients at CareWell Urgent Care clinics. With 17 health clinic locations throughout eastern Massachusetts and in Warwick, Rhode Island, we offer urgent care medical services for patients of all ages, 6 months and up.

What is urgent care? Urgent care services, or acute care services, are medical treatments provided to patients who need to see a doctor now. It’s for when you can’t wait for your regular doctor’s office to see you, but your condition isn’t serious enough to warrant a trip to the emergency room – or when you just don’t want to wait for hours to see an ER doctor. From treating colds and flu to setting broken bones and diagnosing muscle strains to treating rashes and infections, CareWell clinicians provide urgent care when you need it.

Seeing a CareWell clinician for an ultrasound session.

Our clinics are open seven days each week, and many feature extended hours to provide medical services at times most convenient for you. And here’s the best news: in most cases, you can see a clinician in as little as 15 minutes – far less than the hours you’ll spend waiting in an emergency room, or the days you can spend waiting to get an appointment with your primary care physician.

Our clinics are equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment, including ultrasound machines, EKG test equipment, X-ray machines and labs where we can process blood work and other tests. Test results for ultrasound sessions and other diagnostic exams can be returned quickly, and our staff will follow up by sharing information with primary care physicians, specialists and any other medical professionals that may need access to information from your visit.
